Breath, Strength, Flexibility Together
Yoga & Mobility is Hatha yoga, built around the classical pillars of proper exercise, breathing, rest, and a positive mental approach - not a stretching add-on tacked onto the martial arts schedule. The work develops real flexibility and strength together, not flexibility alone, which matters directly for anyone also training BJJ, Judo, or Kickboxing on the same mats. No experience is required to start, and the pacing is built for grapplers and athletes specifically, not a general fitness crowd. It's a genuine complement to martial arts training, not a substitute for it.

What A Class Actually Looks Like
No surprises on day one. Every Yoga & Mobility session follows the same real structure.
Breathwork
Class opens grounded in breathing - the foundation Hatha yoga is actually built on, not just a warm-up formality.
Movement
Poses and sequences that build real flexibility and strength together, paced for grapplers and athletes.
Recovery
Class closes with rest and recovery work - the part most athletes skip on their own and need most.

Common Questions About Yoga & Mobility
- What's the actual difference between yoga and just stretching?
They're not really competing. Stretching targets flexibility in isolation, while yoga builds flexibility, strength, and breath control together - which is why it holds up better for injury prevention over time than static stretching alone.
What each one actually builds- Why does mobility work matter for grappling specifically?
Grappling puts joints through ranges of motion everyday life never asks for - deep hip rotation, spinal twisting under load. Mobility work is what keeps grapplers training long-term instead of getting sidelined by the same three areas: hips, shoulders, lower back.
The real reason grappling demands it- Can being too flexible actually be a problem?
Yes, if flexibility isn't paired with the strength to control it. A joint pushed into a deep range of motion with no stability behind it is a real injury risk - which is exactly why this class builds strength and flexibility together, not flexibility alone.
Why flexibility alone isn't protection- Is there a simple mobility routine I can do outside of class?
Yes - a focused warm-up on the areas grappling loads hardest takes about 10 minutes and is worth doing before any training session, not just on yoga days.
